UPVC windows are very long-lasting, but as a result, many people find that after a house renovation they are left with windows that don’t match the style of a contemporary property.

There are a few options to remedy this situation, you can simply replace the windows, but the cost of doing this can easily run into thousands whilst condeming perfectly good windows to a landfill, you can hire a firm to respray the windows for you or you can go the DIY route and paint your upvc windows in the colour of your choice.

Here at Plasti Dip we sell a product which is perfect for the job. Hard Coat Finish (also known as HCF) is a waterproof, flexible, hard-wearing coating which is well suited to exterior applications. It works well on plastics, metal, aluminium, fibreglass, wood, UPVC and a lot more!

change the colour of window frames

What colour can I change my UPVC windows to?

There are seven choices of colour for HCF which include black, blue, grey and green. HCF can also be mixed to custom RAL colours, including the ever-popular anthracite grey RAL 7016.

How do I apply HCF to my windows?

You can brush it on with a foam brush or roller or buy it as a sprayable coating. To prepare the surface you need to ensure that it is completely clean and free of oils, grease and loose particles.
