What a fantastically useful product. I ordered the clear Plasti Dip to coat the bottom of some upcycled ammo tins to prevent them from getting scratched or them scratching the surfaces they are put on but once I had used it and seen the results I have found dozens of other uses. I will need more soon.

I bought Plastidip following a tip on a website for a product to seal the back of a crumbling carpet and, although I couldn't find the product they recommended, this seemed to be a potential alternative. I brushed it onto the rug in question and left it to dry overnight. It appears to have given it a good seal and we no longer find we are continuously vacuuming up small bits of degraded rubber/plastic. It's saved us having to throw away a perfectly good rug solely because of the backing.

Bought this to tidy up my dishwasher racks as they were showing signs of rust. Sandied the rusty parts down and cleaned with meths spirit and it worked like magic. Saved me pounds as new racks are so expensive, you might as well buy a new machine. well pleased with product hope it lasts a long time, highly recommend.

Used to the inside of a tent flysheet. The tent is a quality mountaineering tent that has been stored for 10 years and was leaking badly where it had been folded in many places. I sprayed a thin coat and then brushed it out and into the fabric. Totally leak free now and no noticeable difference in weight. Just to see how long it lasts now

My first ever time using Plasti Dip spray products, I've recently got I to foam building so required flexible paint to ensure a brilliant finish.
Followed the easy to use instructions found online and after a couple of applications and hours, my project was coated and ready for further painting.

This company provide an excellent service and a quick turn round when ordering goods I have used them 3 times now and are so helpful and I would use again a good tip before using the Aerosols place in a bucket of hot water for about 10 mins and you will get a far better spray and finish as a fist time user I made a few little mistake bit leave for 2 days then just peel it off and start again. the photo below are the Plasti Dip Blaze Blue color with 3 coats of Plasti Dip -White undercoat if you look on YouTube you will see the Blaze Blue looks very bright but this is not the case and the color darkens as you add more layers the Blue on my project is with 4 coats I found trying to use the glossier not that good but that may have been the way I was applying it I also Added Chameleon Kaleidoscope ( which one can not get now to add sparkles effect) to the patient this is best applied when the topcoat is still wet

Used Plasti Dip and Primer on the prongs of the basket of my dishwasher where the plastic coating had begun to flak. Both products were easy to apply and the final finish looked and felt like plastic. Early days, but am hopeful that I've extended the life of the basket.

Hi i used this product to restore a Range Rover P38 leather interior. As you can see by the pictures below it was in a very shabby state to start with but the finish is amazing. The car is 20 yrs old and has done 247,000 miles so the interior has had a long hard life. I purposely wanted to leave some of the wrinkles in keeping with its age. I used a water based degreaser first to remove the grime and grease, this was applied with a plant spray bottle and I worked it with a nylon rotary scrubbing brush fitted in my battery drill. I constantly wiped excess off with a clean wet cloth rinsing it constantly. I was very robust with the rotary brush to ensure all grease was removed. I then cleaned the leather with clean water and cloth to ensure all the detergent and filth were removed. Then i dried the leather completely with a paint stripper hot air gun.
Then using a cork block and 320 grade sand paper i sanded the leather down. I then used a leather filler to fill all the cracks I didn’t want showing. Once this had dried i sanded the leather for the last time to smooth the filler and key the original surface so to give the leather paint something to grip too. This is very important because If you don’t key the leather the paint will peel so do not rush this part. I then used a Henry hoover and a clean paint brush to remove all the dust.
Finally i masked everything up and sprayed the leather with the paint applying it in two light coats first before applying the final top coat. Its important to allow each coat to dry completely before applying the next coat. The pictures show the finish below and its amazing. I restored the seats, steering wheel, hand brake, gear lever, centre consul, door panels inc arm rests and the seat armrests. I highly recommend this product but do not attempt this if you have no patience and remember the paint is perfect to use but the finish you get is entirely dependant on the preparation you put in, if you take short cuts you will have problems with paint cracking or peeling trust me i know i did just that. I left the upholstery untouched for two weeks to ensure it was fully cured then i applied a leather conditioner and so far all is well and I'm over the moon with the finish.

You know those fancy cellhpone cases with inner soft TPU and PolyCarbonate hard shell? The hard shell is so slippery it will make it dificult to hold let alone placing on an inclined smooth surface. I use a clear Plasti Dip layer to create a rubber coating on my cellphone case. Problem solved!

Excellent product . After having watched numerous dip your car.com tutorials online I decided to give it a go.
I wanted to stress i have no experience at all and the results were like a body shop as the pictures will demonstrate. I also used plasti dip red gun grey metalizer and glossifier.
Thanks to this product I can have fun on the weekends trying differnt designs and helping others realise just how easy it is if you follow the steps. After applying roughly 6-7 coats of black and 4 of gloss the results were amazing.
Just purchased 4 cans of smoke as I want to redo tail lights and side markers and D R L s please see below my beautiful 370z nismo pearl white with black accents

What fantastic Products these both are. I was sceptical before using them but the pictures don’t lie. I wanted to change the colour of the plastic door cards on my transporter T5, I’m stunned at the results, especially as this was my first attempt, absolutely delighted.

I recently purchased a tub of the White Tire Paint. I've always been a car enthusiast, and for some reason, i've always had a thing about tyre lettering. I think it goes back to when i was a kid, when i used to play with my Scalextric cars. I've always liked race liveries, and with them the cars usually have the logo'd painted in tyres. I always thought it was a good look, with or without the livery. So i've often done it to a lot of my cars. It just depends what those cars are. Constantly buying the tyre paint pens can get expensive after a while, so finding this product is very handy for myself. The only thing i could suggest is maybe other colour options? Because a few of the logo's for Tire/Tyre brands are more than one colour. For example, i use Falken Tyres on my cars, and their logo is 2 coloured, White and Red. I will post a couple of pics showing exactly what i mean and what i do to my tyres. A big thank you for a great product 🙂

I fly radio controlled aircraft which are powered by lipo batteries. These batteries have to be treated with great care and respect as the potential for fire is very easy if misused.
The power leads we solder onto are a variety of connectors, one of the common ones being EC3 and EC5. At the junction of the soldered bullet connector and the stranded wire is a potentially problem area. 1) the constant removal of the battery after each flight flexes this area and can result in loss of power during flight. 2) this flexing can also cause single strands to become loose and short across causing instant fire.
I have been using Plasti dip for the last 3 years to very good effect.
I mask the connecting surfaces with masking tape and dip to at least 20mm above the joint, leave for an hour then dip again which I leave for 24 hours and then remove the masking tape.
This prevents the joint from flexing and being pulled when disconnecting the battery for charging and removes any risk of shorting from loose strands.
A great product that is easy to use and with clear instructions
Many thanks
